The Problem As a premier supplier of carbon alloy gears to the industrial marketplace, we have a very old, very large building with basically a sheet metal roof and walls. The summertime heat and humidity was very tough on our employees, but air conditioning was simply cost prohibitive.
The Solution Cool-OffTM utilized their 24 inch industrial fans mounted on our columns and the results were astounding. One pump using three separate zones ran twenty-five fans throughout our building. Over 1200 feet of tubing was utilized and we could barely distinguish the pressure at the farthest end of the line from that right next to the pump. I would never have dreamed we could cool down our building for such a modest investment and with so little utility cost each month. Most importantly, there is no evidence of moisture on our machines or final products. It is simply a cool breeze bringing down the temperature for our employees. I would very much recommend this product to anyone looking to take care of their employees in a harsh environment.

The Problem The summer heat presents unusual challenges at the botanical gardens. Two areas of particular concern—the veranda at the Visitors Center and the courtyard below the staff building—were in desperate need of significant cooling as patrons simply could not stand the heat and humidity in these two lovely areas.
The Solution In the Visitors Center veranda, we installed eight 18-inch commercial fans with center mounted ceramic misting nozzles. The almost smoke-like mist evaporates within four feet of the fans and cools the area beautifully without wetting the floors or brochures. In the courtyard where small gatherings and presentations are held, we installed Cool-Off’s Dual Breeze ceiling fans with center mounted mist nozzles, which provides very nice smaller area cooling effects. As a result, the ambience in these two areas during the summer has been improved dramatically.
The Problem For seven months of the year the intense heat and humidity in our patio courtyard made it kind of miserable for our customers. As beautiful as it was, customers only went out there when it was just too crowded inside. The only way to cool the area was to hang misting fans from the Palm Trees, but our landlord would not allow it for the potential danger to his trees.
The Solution Our friends at Cool-OffTM designed a cushioned metal belt to tighten around the trees that could be let out as the trees grew. They ran their high pressure tubing inside protective PVC pipe under our sanded brick patio and up each tree to the fans attached on each belt. What we thought was impossible is now the talk of the town. You cannot even tell the bricks were disturbed. What was once a hot/humid patio has become an attraction that is generating increased traffic and profits.
The Problem Every summer, we face the same issue trying to compete with air conditioned mechanic areas from the new dealerships around town. The costs of losing our best mechanics, locating replacements, and properly training them is significant and time consuming.
The Solution The men at Cool-OffTM showed us their evaporative cooling fans and how we could reduce our workplace temperatures by 20 degrees. Utilizing both 20 inch and 24 inch fans mounted up and out of the way, we keep our employees happy and more efficient. We also save over $1000 a month versus traditional air conditioning.
